Conference Overview
The inaugural International Virtual Exchange Conference (IVEC) was held in Tacoma, Washington, U.S.A. on October 25 and 26, 2019. Over 360 participants – practitioners, administrators, policy makers and students – from 30 countries attended nearly 90 sessions held over the two days. The conference was hosted by the University of Washington Bothell and Tacoma campuses.
You can watch again the keynote presentation which, under the title “Zooming Out: What we can learn about – and from disinformation”, was given by Mike Caulfield with opening remarks by conference co-hosts Natalia Dyba and Jeff Cohen.
